Visitors module

Impact with audio description and instructions

The Visitors module has a huge impact on people with visual impairments. The addition of this module gives them the same experience as people who can see. It brings the location to life.

You control the management of this module with the eZwayZ cloud. This makes adding or changing information easy.

With the Visitors module, you can add information per destination or object:

  1. A general description spoken by a voice over.

  2. An audio description: a voice over gives descriptive information. For example ‘The painting is 3 by 4 metres.’ or ‘You are now standing in a large hall full of plants.’

  3. An interaction text: instructions when you can do something in the room or near an object. For example, how the coffee machine works or how to pull the lever to make an object move.

Museums

For museums, this module means that descriptions of objects or instructions on what you can do with an object can be added. Descriptions of rooms can also be added. This offers visually impaired and blind people so many more opportunities to experience the museum, just like their children, friends or partner.

Other buildings

For buildings, the addition of the Visitors module provides answers to questions such as: how big is the space, where am I standing now, what colours are used? Welcome messages can also be added. The location comes to life and someone with a visual impairment gets a ‘seeing’ experience.
